Perhaps you have joined in a Cary After Dark Experience this summer and heard the history, heard the paranormal tales, or sampled some of unexplained activity at the historic Pasmore House, now Vino & Tap in Downtown Cary.  

Now it's time to try to experience something paranormal for yourself.

What happens when you investigate one of Cary's historic places and the experience leave you with more questions than answers?

That was the experience of Dr. Katherine Loflin and J. Crumpler when they entered Pasmore House in 2026 to investigate for their upcoming book Haunted Cary. 

Now we invite you to join us, inside the Pasmore House -- the location that caused us to take a break from investigating and writing.....until now when you join us for The Pasmore Files this October. 

This isn't a ghost tour.  This is a rare opportunity for you to have exclusive access to a location for the purposes of becoming part of a paranormal investigation.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The evening begins with an exclusive review of actual audio recordings and other evidence collected inside the Pasmore House. You’ll hear what was captured, consider the circumstances surrounding it, and decide for yourself what you think it means.

Then we investigate again—with you.  

Guests will participate in a live paranormal investigation of the historic house, using their own smartphones to help document what happens. What will we capture this time? We don't know. That's the point.

Your experience includes:

Review real evidence — See and hear recordings already collected at the Pasmore House.

Join a live investigation — Participate alongside Katherine and J as we return to the source.

Collect your own evidence — Use your smartphone to record and document what you experience. We will demonstrate a few techniques and technologies to aid in the investigation.

A curated drink especially for us, then purchase additional liquid courage as you wish.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Dr. Katherine Loflin & J Allen Crumpler

Co-authors of the upcoming Haunted Cary published by The History Press (July 2027).

Katherine is a multiple award-winning Cary historian and author of Hidden History of Cary. 

J is a paranormal investigator with 25 years experience and one of the founding members of Haunted NC.  

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring a fully charged smartphone and headphones or earbuds. You'll use them during portions of the experience.

Space is intentionally limited to preserve the intimate nature of the investigation.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, BUT TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER DATES (as available) OR OTHERS.

Experiencing or capturing paranormal phenomena cannot be guaranteed. What we can guarantee is that the evidence presented was collected during our investigations and that guests will have the opportunity to participate in a new investigation and draw their own conclusions. We do not fabricate findings, so you get what you get and you don't get upset.  Disrespecting the house or any of its inhabitants will not be tolerated.  We do not allow aggressive challenges to try to get a response, taunting, or disrespectful provocation of any kind during the experience.
